Gosam Reservoir is a vast reservoir that was completed in 1963 to supply water to nearby areas. The reservoir is abundant in aquatic plants, providing a good habitat for fish. Visitors can enjoy a walk along the path around while listening to early birds chirp in the background. It is known as a popular spot for auto-camping. The reservoir has three small islands known as Baseok Island, Palja Island, and Donggeurak Island. The lake is so large that it may feel like an ocean surrounded by land. The lake’s circumference is 14 kilometers, and it takes 25 minutes by car to encircle the whole lake. The lakeside is also a cherry blossom driving course in spring. In addition to being a popular free campsite, the reservoir is also famous for its fabulous sunset and sunrise views.
